Course Objectives
This course provides guidance on how to measure and optimize end-to-end network performance, service quality and the customer experience of UMTS + HSPA networks. Main focus is UTRAN. Important KPIs are introduced to measure performance in the UTRAN and evaluating the importance of each one. The course contains a planning part, where specific parameter settings and setting combinations are discussed, which influence the system operation. Practical sections present call flow examples based on protocol traces taken with protocol analyzer ant the analysis of such traces.
Pre-requisites
Good knowledge of UMTS and HSPA air interface and planning concepts.
Training Structure
Four days training divided into logical sessions.
Methodology
Instructor led training.
