Course Objectives
This course enlarges basic knowledge related to UMTS (e.g. gained during UMTS Overview course) and helps to gain a basic knowledge regarding the common UMTS and GPRS core network infrastructure and functionality. It introduces a description of interfaces and interface protocol structure involved in communication within the UMTS Core Network. The course then explains examples of UMTS traffic, focusing on communication in UMTS/GPRS Core Network.
Pre-requisites
Prior to attending this event, the participants should already have an understanding of the architecture of UMTS system and a basic knowledge on communications in telecommunication networks.
Training Structure
Two days training divided into logical sessions.
Methodology
Instructor led training.
