Network Inventory

SunVizion Network Inventory is a state-of-the-art, cost efficient and customer-proven solution that allows you to capture, store and manage all key data about your network infrastructure, configuration, status and performance.

SunVizion Network Inventory correlates and analyses this data and then feeds the necessary information to your business processes including customer care, order fulfillment or fault management. It also provides you with advanced Business Intelligence solutions supporting your decision processes.

Rather than just "documenting" your network, SunVizion Network Inventory focuses on aggregating information from other OSS/BSS systems and network elements and using this information to improve your operations, investments, sales and many other aspects of your business.

Service Inventory

Service Inventory is used to collect, process, and share information about services provided by the operator in order to support service sale and maintenance processes. Service Inventory provides a web service interface allowing for integration with other systems, in particular with CRM, Resource Inventory and Workflow. It allows for managing specific customer care processes.

The solution enables service modelling in compliance with TM Forum recommendations so that the telecommunications operator can record all aspects and parameters of its services (both in terms of clients and hardware).

Service sale support

  • Verifies whether a given service can be provided at or between specified locations.

  • Registers services sold to a customer, and locks network resources used for the service.

  • Provides technical parameters needed to activate a given service in the service activation process.

Service maintenance process

  • Determines the impact of a failure/outage on existing services.

  • Determines whether a given customer is affected by a failure.

  • Stores information about the history of service unavailability and allows for preparing service quality reports.

Resource Inventory

Resource Inventory is used to collect, process, and provide information about physical and logical network resources.

The system stores data about infrastructure (such as buildings, rooms, room equipment, cable routes, duct segments, cable chambers (manholes), cabinets, utility poles, cables, etc.) and its physical usage (card distribution within shelves, cables occupying ducts, physical ports on devices used by attached cables).

Devices can be deployed using advanced compatibility control features to match device types and technologies as well as available bandwidth. The system supports logical resource inventory, recording the resource's functionality, bandwidth, and relationships with other physical and logical resources.

The system provides information on network topology and utilisation, and features for searching and reserving network connections.

Outside Plant Inventory

SunVizion Outside Plant Inventory is a comprehensive and highly flexible application that allows you to keep full control over your backhaul networks. It has been designed for a broad range of network types including cable, mobile, wireless, wireline, and broadband. It supports most key network technologies such as fiber-optic, coax, copper, radio lines, SDH, PDH, IP, WDM, GSM, UMTS, CDMA, HSPA, LTE, WiMAX, and others.

SunVizion Outside Plant Inventory includes advanced GIS applications based on the world's leading geospatial engine from ESRI.

Key functions and features

  • Advanced visualisation providing a single view of both logical and physical network aspects.

  • Flexible network decomposition into layers, hierarchy levels, zones and sub-networks.

  • Presentation and localisation of network resources on digital maps with scale-dependent visibility.

  • Direct access to all information about network resources and their attributes from digital maps.

  • Visualisation of the impact and scope of network element breakdown.

Additional functions and capabilities

  • Advanced analytics and reporting tools that can improve your business intelligence.

  • Network data modelling based on widely adopted TM Forum SID and ITU standards.

  • OSS/BSS integration components and SOA compliant data import and synchronisation mechanisms.

Inside Plant Inventory

SunVizion Inside Plant Inventory is an advanced application that allows you to document and control your network devices and components located indoors. It offers hierarchical decomposition and visualisation of your network elements and their parameters, e.g. amplifier in a cabinet, splice in a manhole, room in a building, etc.

SunVizion Inside Plant Inventory comes with libraries of the most commonly used devices for different types of networks and underlying network technologies including fiber-optic, coax, copper, radio lines, SDH, PDH, IP, WDM, GSM, UMTS, CDMA, HSPA, LTE, WiMAX, and others.

Key functions and features

  • Presentation of object location in network infrastructure (e.g. amplifier in a cabinet, splice in a manhole, room in a building).

  • Device view presenting sub-elements and structure (e.g. router, card, downstream, ports).

  • Advanced visualisation providing a single view of both logical and physical network aspects.

  • Assigning backgrounds (raster files) to rooms (floors), racks, shelves, etc.

  • Assigning icons to elements that can be placed on backgrounds (e.g. cards placed on shelves).

  • Visualisation of the impact and scope of network element breakdown.

Additional functions and capabilities

  • Advanced analytics and reporting tools that can improve your planning decision process.

  • Libraries of pre-modelled network elements for different types of network technologies.

  • Presentation of auxiliary documents associated with an object (possible integration with external repository).

  • Network data modelling based on widely adopted TM Forum SID and ITU standards.

  • OSS/BSS integration components and SOA compliant data import and synchronisation mechanism.

Building Inventory

SunVizion Building Inventory is a specialised tool designed for Cable Operators and Triple Play Service Providers. It is practical and time-efficient for designing coax and fiber networks for new housing projects as well as for documenting and controlling your existing network infrastructure inside buildings.

SunVizion Building Installation Inventory offers hierarchical decomposition and visualisation of your building and network elements and their attributes, e.g. stairways within buildings, apartments and floors within stairways, splitter location in a building, amplifier in a cabinet, etc. It allows for simple replication of network segments among buildings, stairways, floors, apartments, and rooms.

Key functions and features

  • Efficient design and replication of building structures (stairways, floors, apartments, rooms, cellars, etc.).

  • Documenting already connected and potential subscribers (with possibility of integrating with the CRM system).

  • Location of service termination points within a building structure (apartments and rooms).

  • Positioning and connecting network elements (symbols) located inside the building.

  • Advanced visualisation providing a single view of both logical and physical network aspects.

  • Visualisation of the impact and scope of network element breakdown.

Additional functions and capabilities

  • Libraries of pre-modelled network elements for different types of network technologies.

  • Direct access to all information about building resources and their attributes from digital maps.

  • Reverse channel (IP segment) and power segment visualisation for coax technology.

  • Presentation of auxiliary documents associated with an object (possible integration with external repository).

  • Network data modelling based on widely adopted TM Forum SID and ITU standards.
